One of the most consequential provisions stopped states from passing Medicaid costs for illegal immigrants onto federal taxpayers.  The law required states to cover these costs themselves, eliminating a system that blurred eligibility lines and wasted billions of dollars each year. Behind the rhetoric about “healthcare for all” is an effort to restore a hidden subsidy—one that forces law-abiding Americans to finance benefits for those who entered the country illegally. Medicaid now consumes more than $800 billion annually, accounting for over 15% of all federal spending. With the program’s future in jeopardy, enforcing eligibility rules is necessary.  Every dollar misused on those who broke U.S. law is a dollar denied to struggling American families. DEVELOPING: At Least 10 Senate Democrats Expected to Vote to Advance Package of Funding Bills to Reopen Government: Report. At least 10 Senate Democrats are expected to vote to advance funding bills to reopen the government, according to Axios. Today is day 40 of the Schumer Shutdown. US Airlines have canceled more than 2,500 flights this weekend due to the Democrat shutdown. On Sunday, Senate Majority Leader John Thune said if the Democrats vote on a House-passed clean CR, he will offer a minibus appropriations bill. Thune is expected to hold a vote on Sunday afternoon. According to Axios, Senate Democrats are demanding a December vote on extending Obamacare tax credits, For Illegal allien Democrat Voter Base. Trump Announces $2,000 ‘Tariff Dividend’ to Be Paid to Most Americans. "People that are against Tariffs are FOOLS!" President declares. President Trump on Sunday said that he plans to give every American $2,000 tariff dividends in a post on Truth Social. The President previously said he wants to give Americans a “rebate” because of the trillions of dollars in revenue from tariffs. Trump has also suggested that his External Revenue Service, which he announced on January 14, 2025, to “collect our Tariffs, Duties, and all Revenue that come from Foreign sources,” will “completely eliminate” income taxes for “people making less than $200,000 a year.” This comes as the Supreme Court weighs the constitutionality of tariffs after the Court of International Trade in New York said President Trump exceeded his authority to impose tariffs under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act of 1977.

Senator Ron Johnson Backs President Trump to Get Rid of Filibuster While Exposing Democrats’ Hypocrisy. Republican Senator Ron Johnson was on “Sunday Morning Futures” with Maria Bartiromo to discuss getting rid of the filibuster to open the government and continue President Trump’s America First agenda. He explained that the Democrats would not hesitate to do the same if they were in charge. “Do you expect that the Democrats are going to do it anyway, once they return to power?” Bartiromo asked about the filibuster. “Democrats, we already know they absolutely will nuke the filibuster. They purged the two members who had prevented that last time,” Johnson said. “If they gain power, they will nuke the filibuster to maintain power,” Johnson warned. “They are keeping government shut because they don’t want the economy to do well,” Johnson continued. “They will obstruct every good piece of legislation President Trump and Republicans want to pass, so we’d better act first,” Johnson said. “Democrats will nuke the filibuster to maintain their power. IRONY: Zohran Mamdani’s Victory Party Featured a CASH Bar With Very Expensive Drinks. After months of promising the voters of New York City all kinds of free stuff, Zohran Mamdani’s post-election victory party featured a cash bar with very pricey drinks. How’s that for irony? People who showed up were probably expecting some free treats, and not just because it was a party for Mamdani. It’s pretty standard for an event like this to feature an open bar, at least for part of the evening. This may be a metaphor for things to come under the new mayor. Won’t it be funny if that’s the case? The music venue’s menu – including PBR beers at $13, Montauk Summer Ale at $16, Indian Wells Chardonnay for $15 and shaker cup cocktails that cost as much as $22 – was posted on X by Politico reporter Jeff Coltin Tuesday night. Hampton Water Wine cost $13 while the Paramount old fashioned went for $22 a pop.
