SNAP Benefits Shutdown: A Good Time to Reassess – 54% of Federal Benefit Recipients Non-Citizens. Instagram and Twitter are abuzz with complaints about how the government shutdown is cutting SNAP benefits, and children in the U.S. are going hungry. Liberals blame Republicans for the shutdown and claim Republicans don’t care about Americans.Of course, liberals omit the fact that the shutdown happened because Democrats refused to cut funding for illegal aliens. And as for children “going hungry,” only about 4 percent of American households face what’s called “food insecurity,” which is not the same as hunger. These households already qualify for federal assistance programs. In reality, there is almost no true hunger in the United States. If Democrats are truly concerned about these people, they shouldn’t have allowed the government to shut down. Biden’s 2021 American Rescue Plan provided states with $350 billion in flexible federal funds, which some states used to give unemployment payments to illegal immigrants. New York created a $2.1 billion program for illegal immigrants, paying benefits to 290,000 people who received the equivalent of $3,000 per week. This compensation was intended for those who lost their jobs during the pandemic, even though they were working illegally without a work permit. Through September 30, 2025, New York City recorded migrant-related expenditures of $1.47 billion in FY 2023, $3.75 billion in FY 2024, $3.02 billion in FY 2025, and $498.7 million projected for FY 2026. Over a six-month period, the city distributed debit cards to more than 7,300 migrants at a total cost of $2.6 million. Each card was loaded with $12.52 per person per day for 28 days. The $53 million contract with Mobility Capital Finance included $1.5 million in fees for the first $50 million distributed and $2.5 million for the next $100 million. When we consider all benefits, including local, state, and federal taxpayer money spent on education, emergency medical care, and other services beyond traditional welfare programs, the true cost to U.S. taxpayers is roughly $150 billion. During the government shutdown, President Trump has ordered several departments to conduct citizenship audits to ensure that benefits are only going to those legally in the country. Thanks to the Democrats, the flow of funds has been halted while the audits continue.

In a resurfaced interview, Mamdani’s  mother, Mira Nair, described her son as “not an American at all.” "And Mamdani has shown that time and time again as he has stood with the co-conspirator, unindicted, of the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, and he continues to stand with his good friend, [Hasan] Piker, who said, Americans deserved the 9/11 bombings. I mean, it is so racially divisive, and they have refused to say they’re American. They’ve refused to show that gratitude. It’s appalling, Laura." He refuses to say, “I’m proud to be American.” How can you stand there and vote for somebody who wants to run to be an American mayor when he refuses to say he’s proud to be an American? He’s proud to be in this country that’s given him so much. So New Yorkers are allowing this disdain. This is going to be a next generation of inside terrorists that are going to be running our country. We shouldn’t be worried about the outsiders today. Pritzker (D) has attempted to impede federal immigration enforcement, an illegal alien is accused of killing a Republican elected official and his wife in Coles County. Police say that 34-year-old illegal alien Edwin Pacheco-Meza of Honduras was driving a van on Oct. 24 when he crossed the center lane and struck 71-year-old Michael Clayton and his wife, 66-year-old Gail Clayton — killing them instantly. Michael Clayton was a Republican elected official who served on the Coles County Board. “Two innocents were killed because this criminal illegal alien chose to drive under the influence,” the Department of Homeland Security’s Tricia McLaughlin said in a statement: President Trump and Secretary Noem have unleashed ICE and CBP in Illinois to restore law-and-order and remove criminal illegal aliens from our communities. Anyone who is in the U.S. illegally and thinks they can roam free while breaking our laws and harming Americans is in for a rude awakening. If you are in our country illegally and break our laws, we will find you, arrest you, remove you, and you will never return. Trump Admin Responds With Fire After JB Pritzker Slams Them for “Terrorizing Kids in Halloween Parades” and Begs to Pause Immigration Enforcement so Children can “Celebrate” Halloween Weekend. A desperate and angry Illinois Governor JB Pritzker took a cheap shot at ICE agents on Thursday and dared to beg the Trump Administration to do him a favor. One can safely say that won’t happen. Pritzker wrote a letter on Wednesday requesting that Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem and top ICE officials pause immigration enforcement throughout the Windy City for three days so children can “safely celebrate Halloween.” The Chicago Sun-Times was the first to obtain the letter. DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin later issued a defiant and blistering statement that the far-left Guardian obtained: "Once again, Governor Pritzker is going out of his way to smear the law enforcement officers of DHS, who are attempting to clean up the rampant crime he facilitated. He is pushing a false narrative that DHS is targeting schools, hospitals and churches. This is false, he knows this, but he continues to push these lies. Our officers are facing mass assaults, vehicles used as weapons, violence, and only use crowd control methods as a last resort when repeated warnings have been given. Those who are here legally and are not breaking other laws have nothing to fear".
