Trump Responds to Biden Breaking Silence on Autopen Investigation: “I’m sure that he didn’t know… That is Wrong, It’s Illegal, It’s So Bad” President Trump responded on Thursday to Biden’s latest statement regarding the autopen scandal, where he shrugged off the ongoing investigation as “nothing more than a distraction.” Trump responded to Biden's dismissal of the scandal during an Oval Office meeting with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz by outlining the purpose of the autopen and explaining that he only uses it for signing the thousands of letters sent from the White House to American citizens and young people. Calling out Biden's lie that he signed every official action, Trump said, "I'm sure that he didn't know." He continued, "He didn't have much of an idea what was going on. Essentially, whoever used the autopen was president, and that is wrong, it's illegal, it's so bad, and it's so disrespectful to our country."Trump also noted that "Outside of the rigged election of 2020, I think the biggest scandal of the last many years is the autopen and who's using it." (Video)
