BREAKING: Federal Appeals Court Reinstates Trump’s Tariffs. ​A federal appeals court on Thursday temporarily reinstated President Trump’s tariffs after the Court of International Trade in New York said President Trump exceeded his authority to impose tariffs under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act of 1977 (IEEPA). The Trump Administration immediately appealed the federal court’s permanent injunction on Wednesday evening. The En Banc order (court’s entire slate of judges) granted the Trump Administration an immediate administrative stay less than 24 hours later. One judge did not participate. The request for an immediate administrative stay is granted to the extent that the judgments and the permanent injunctions entered by the Court of International Trade in these cases are temporarily stayed until further notice while this court considers the motions papers,” the    federal circuit court said   according to the order reviewed by The Gateway Pundit.

Supreme Court Reins in Judges A little Bit in Latest Ruling. The US Supreme Court on Thursday in an 8-0 ruling reined in judges just a little bit as rogue judges wage a war on the Trump Administration. The high court limited judicial review in cases related to energy and transportation projects and infrastructure. At issue was the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) – a decades-old law that opened the door for the left to paralyze economic development by blocking projects over ‘environmental’ concerns. Far-left environmental groups have used NEPA to stop the expansion of oil refineries and other important energy projects. The Supreme Court said NEPA cannot be weaponized to micromanage, delay or block new projects based on environmental effects. Gorsuch was not present for Thursday’s ruling.

​ICE Conducts Massive 100 Person Immigration Raid at Tallahassee Construction Site. ICE agents detained more than 100 illegals during an immigration raid at a Tallahassee, Florida, construction site on Thursday. “U.S. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigation served multiple search warrants as part of an ongoing investigation in the Tallahassee region,” ICE said in a statement to local media. At White House Meeting, Trump Tells Powell It’s ‘A Mistake’ Not To Cut Rates. President Donald Trump met Thursday with Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell at the White House and urged the central bank to lower interest rates, renewing his call for more accommodative monetary policy to strengthen U.S. competitiveness and growth. The White House said Trump told Powell he was making “a mistake” by keeping rates elevated, arguing the current policy stance disadvantages the U.S. relative to other major economies, particularly China. “The president has been very vocal about that both publicly—and now I can reveal—privately as well,” said White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt. She confirmed that Trump did not raise the issue of removing Powell, whose term as chair runs through May 2026. While markets largely expect rate cuts later this year, Fed officials have stressed patience, citing conflicting signals from inflation data and the labor market. Trump, by contrast, has argued that continued restraint risks undermining economic momentum and weakening the U.S. position abroad. Derivatives tied to Fed policy imply the Fed will cut rates two or three times this year, down from earlier expectations for four rate cuts, according to the CME FedWatch tool.
