Footage shows Baraka among a large group appearing to attempt to enter the Delaney Hall migrant detention facility. On Friday afternoon, US Attorney for New Jersey Alina Habba gave an update on Baraka’s arrest, writing. "The Mayor of Newark, Ras Baraka, committed trespass and ignored multiple warnings from Homeland Security Investigations to remove himself from the ICE detention center in Newark, New Jersey this afternoon.
