‘We Are Being Forced to Fund Our Own Destruction’: The Massive Amount of Taxpayer Dollars Behind Afghan Resettlement Program That Brought National Guard Shooter to U.S.Spc. Sarah Beckstrom, 20, succumbed to her injuries on Thanksgiving, while Sgt. Andrew Wolfe, 24, remains in critical condition.This incident underscores a harsh reality: billions in U.S. tax dollars have been poured into resettling tens of thousands of Afghans, some of whom pose a direct threat to American lives and security. Author and political commentator Mike Cernovich shared a post breaking down the cost and wrote, “We are being forced to fund our own destruction.” The shooter, 29-year-old Rahmanullah Lakanwal, entered the U.S. in September 2021 under Operation Allies Welcome (OAW), a hasty resettlement initiative launched by the Biden administration following the chaotic Afghanistan withdrawal. Since 2021, the U.S. government has spent over $14 billion on Afghan evacuees, including $8.7 billion specifically for OAW through the Departments of Defense, Health and Human Services, and Homeland Security. That’s your money, hard-working Americans, being used to import potential threats. This isn’t an isolated tragedy. It’s a symptom of a broken system where Americans are forced to bankroll their own peril. Billions funneled into resettlement have brought over 72,000 Afghans, many with questionable backgrounds, into our neighborhoods. It’s time to end these reckless programs, secure our borders, and put American safety first.

Is Trump’s Third World Immigration Ban a Precursor to the Insurrection Act? If Trump were to implement the Insurrection Act it is likely that he would receive a groundswell of popular support. Over the Thanksgiving holiday, U.S. President Donald Trump announced sweeping plans to tighten immigration rules, including a suspension on migration from “Third World Countries” and cancellation of all federal benefits and subsidies to “noncitizens” in the country. The decision comes after a terror attack (the shooting of two National Guardsmen) involving an Afghan migrant, Rahmanullah Lakanwal, admitted to the US under a program for Afghan refugees launched by Joe Biden in 2021 (Operation Allies Welcome).However, the Trump Admin approved the man’s asylum application in 2025 based on his aid to CIA operations in Afghanistan over a ten year period. The smart move would have been to err on the side of caution, and this is a lesson Trump is apparently taking to heart. In a pair of Truth Social posts late Thursday night, Trump said he would “permanently pause migration from all Third World Countries to allow the U.S. system to fully recover.” The president said he would also terminate “millions” of admissions under his predecessor Joe Biden and remove “anyone who is not a net asset to the United States, or is incapable of loving our country.” Trump added he plans to end all federal benefits and subsidies for noncitizens, “denaturalize migrants who undermine domestic tranquility,” and deport any foreign national he described as a “public charge, security risk, or non-compatible with Western Civilization.” The recent attack in Washington DC combined with mass interference from NGO funded activists and Democrat leaders calling for the military to “resist” Trump’s “illegal orders” (even though no illegal orders have been issued) is blazing a clear path to one conclusion: The Insurrection Act. The surge of Haitian migrants in Springfield, OH took center stage during the presidential debates in 2024 and this tapped into a national conversation about limitations on lack of assimilation by third world asylum seekers. Muslim enclaves in places like Dearborn, MI are another hot topic, with Islamic fundamentalists now essentially running the city and many residents calling for Sharia Law.

The left is furious that Joe Rogan and other major podcasters have defected from their woke cult. Now the Rockefeller Foundation appears to be gearing up for a youth-focused propaganda operation ahead of next year’s midterms and the 2028 presidential race.
