WATCH: Kash Patel Speaks During Swearing in Ceremony, Says “There Will be Accountability Within the FBI and Outside of the FBI” Starting IMMEDIATELY. On Friday, Kash Patel was sworn in as the ninth Director of the FBI by Attorney General Pam Bondi. Patel was confirmed by the Senate on Thursday in a close vote after RINO Senators Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski joined the Democrats in opposing his nomination.
The final vote tally was 51-49. Patel also taunted the media, daring them to "bring it on" with their fake news smears and attacks on him, " but leave the men and women at the FBI out of it. They deserve better," he said.

ICE Director Out Amid Reports Trump Unhappy with Pace of Deportations. Acting ICE Director Caleb Vitello has been removed from his position amid reports President Trump is unhappy with the pace of deportations, according to The Wall Street Journal. Earlier this month it was reported that President Trump and border czar Tom Homan were reportedly unhappy with the current number of deportations. Caleb Vitello was reassigned to oversee all  field and enforcement operations. 
Reuters reported that the Trump Administration has deported nearly 40,000 illegal aliens since Inauguration Day.

WATCH: Honduran Fugitive Busted for Smuggling Illegals in Truck Tractor. Suspect wanted for sexual assault now faces smuggling charges, as well. A Honduran national who was wanted for sexual assault is now facing human smuggling charges following a pursuit and bail out in Texas. The bust unfolded in Laredo on Feb. 12, but the Texas Department of Public Safety (TxDPS) just released footage and information on Friday. A TxDPS trooper was pulling over a truck tractor for a traffic violation when passengers began jumping out of the vehicle.

Trump Nukes Biden’s Deportation Protection for Half a Million Haitians. Temporary Protected Status for Haitian illegals now only applies through August of 2025. “Biden and Mayorkas attempted to tie the hands of the Trump administration by extending Haiti's Temporary Protected Status by 18 months—far longer than justified or necessary," Sec. Noem states. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has reversed a decision to extend deportation protection to more than half a million Haitians that was ordered by former Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas. On Thursday, DHS Sec. Kristi Noem announced the nullification an 18-month extension of Temporary Protected Status (TPS) that covered approximately 520,000 Haitian nationals, the majority of whom arrived to the U.S. within the last four years.

Janet Mills (D-ME) had a contentious exchange over her defiance of his executive order protecting women’s sports. A New York Times/Ipsos poll published in January found that almost 80 percent of Americans are against biological men competing in women’s sports, while just 18 percent support it.

That bold move may be just a first step toward an even more ambitious and controversial goal: privatizing the perpetual money-loser.  In November, USPS disclosed a net loss of $9.5 billion for the 2024 fiscal year — a loss that was 46% worse than the service’s $6.5 billion deficit in 2023.  Since 1970, the USPS has operated as a quasi-governmental agency, led by a board of governors whose members are appointed by presidents subject to Senate confirmation.​

BREAKING: Judge Declines to Block Trump’s Move to Put Thousands of USAID Workers on Leave. Judge Nichols, a Trump appointee on Friday declined to block the Trump Administration’s move to place thousands of USAID workers on leave. Last week Judge Nichols temporarily extended his restraining order blocking the Trump Admin from placing USAID workers on leave. The restraining order expired on Friday and the judge declined a request for a preliminary injunction. Judge Nichols said in a 26-page decision that the plaintiffs (the union that represents the USAID workers) have not demonstrated that further preliminary injunctive relief is warranted. But in turning down the request for the preliminary injunction, Nichols now allows the Trump administration to resume those efforts.

Mexico’s President Plans to Change Constitution to Protect Drug Cartels From U.S. Military Strikes. Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum is seeking to alter the country’s constitution to protect drug cartels from the U.S. military. Last month, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth said that “all options are on the table” when it comes to crushing the cartels that have destroyed millions of people’s lives not just in Mexico but around the world. “All options will be on the table if we’re dealing with what are designated to be foreign terrorist organizations who are specifically targeting Americans on our border,” Hegseth said in an interveiw with Fox News. “We’re finally securing our border. We’ve been securing other people’s border for a very long time.” ”The military is orienting, shifting toward an understanding of homeland defense on our sovereign territorial border.”
