Breaking: India Launches Strikes On Pakistan After Terror Attack. Airstrikes on nine sites inside Pakistan. Things just escalated in a huge and dangerous way between nuclear-armed rivals India and Pakistan, with the Indian government confirming it has launched strikes on nine sites inside Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir. “No Pakistani military facilities have been targeted,” the statement added according to Reuters, in a ‘counter-terror’ operation dubbed “Operation Sindoor”.India identified that it hit the terrorist infrastructure of Islamist groups in retaliation for the April 22 terror attack on Indian tourists in Kashmir which killed 26 in the scenic Pahalgam area. The victims had been singled out by the gunmen, which the Indian government has suggested were sponsored by Pakistan, for being Hindu in a sectarian mass killing. “These steps come in the wake of the barbaric Pahalgam terrorist attack in which 25 Indians and one Nepali citizen were murdered. We are living up to the commitment that those responsible for this attack will be held accountable,” India’s statement read in the wake of the new military action. (Video)

As the Associated Press reported, U.S. District Judge Jamal Whitehead, a Biden judge from Seattle, on Monday ordered the Trump administration to admit around 12,000 refugees into America under a court order partially barring the president’s attempts to suspend the nation’s refugee admissions program. At the same time, he ignored the possibility that these refugees could pose a threat to America. Trump lawyers, though, have rightfully pointed out that the president had explicit constitutional authority to deny entry to foreign nationals who, if allowed into the country, “would be detrimental to the interests of the United States.” In January, President Donald Trump signed Executive Order 14155, titled “Realigning the United States Refugee Admissions Program,” which suspended the U.S. Refugee Admissions Program (USRAP) effective January 27, 2025. This order stopped refugees from entering America and barred federal funding to organizations assisting refugees, including those already in the country.
