Bondi that illegal aliens granted voluntary departure under federal immigration law can remain in the United States past their court-ordered departure deadline—if that deadline happens to fall on a weekend or legal holiday. Justice Neil Gorsuch authored the majority opinion, joined by Justices Roberts, Sotomayor, Kagan, and Jackson, effectively rewriting the meaning of a “60-day” voluntary departure period to accommodate the convenience of deportable individuals, not the rule of law.

Leftist Judge Paula Xinis, an Obama appointee, erupted on the Trump Administration after a conference to address the government’s dispute over discovery in the Kilmar Abrego Garcia case. The Pro Kilmar Abrego Garcia judge accused the Trump Administration of defying her politically motivated court order ignoring the constitutional rule of law and ordered the government to provide more details by Wednesday about its decision to send Abrego Garcia to CECOT. Kilmar Abrego Garcia is an El Salvadorian national who was illegally residing in Maryland. In 2019, an immigration judge ordered Abrego Garcia, an alleged member of the dangerous MS-13 gang, removed from the US. Additionally, an immigration appellate court also upheld the immigration judge’s decision. The Left Leaning Supreme Court muddied the case even more after it ordered the Trump Administration to ‘facilitate’ the release of Abrego Garcia. The high court, however, said in its ruling, “with due regard for the deference owed to the Executive Branch in the conduct of foreign affairs.”

BREAKING: Highly Politically Motivated Leftist Biden Judge Bars Trump Admin From Deporting Venezuelan Illegals Under Alien Enemies Act. On Tuesday, a federal judge in Denver, Colorado, blocked another round of potential deportations under the Alien Enemies Act (AEA).US District Judge Charlotte Sweeney, a Biden appointee, granted a temporary restraining order (TRO) blocking the removal of aliens from the district of Colorado. The anti-American ACLU and the Rocky Mountain Immigrant Advocacy Network said during a hearing on Monday that two Venezuelan illegals were facing deportation to El Salvador’s CECOT prison under the Alien Enemies Act. Judge Sweeney granted a TRO and said aliens facing deportation under the AEA must be given 21 days’ notice before removal. The ACLU on Friday frantically ran to two district courts as Venezuelan illegals in Abilene, Texas, were reportedly being loaded up on buses to be deported. After the Trump-appointed judge in the Northern District of Texas refused to take emergency action, the ACLU ran to Judge Boasberg in DC. Boasberg held an emergency hearing and told ACLU lawyers that he did not have jurisdiction over plaintiffs in Texas. The ACLU then leapfrogged the courts and begged the Supreme Court to intervene in an emergency application. The Supreme Court temporarily halted the deportations (Alito and Thomas dissented) and stopped the Trump Admin from deporting a group of Venezuelan illegals.

US District Judge Alvin Hellerstein, a 91-year-old Clinton appointee, unhinged blasted DOJ lawyers during a hearing on Tuesday and accused them throwing people out of the US “because of their tattoos. ”Earlier this month Hellerstein  blocked A federal judge in New York on Tuesday extended his block on removal of Dangerous Tren de Aragua gang members facing deportation under the Constitutional Illegal Alien Enemies Act.

Karoline Leavitt Says Mass Deportations are Being Held up by Congressional Funding and Rogue Leftist Judges. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt on Tuesday credited a lack of Congressional funding for immigration enforcement and “rogue district court judges” for the Trump Administration’s inability to follow through on mass deportations. As of April 1, 2025, over 100,000 individuals had been deported since January 20, 2025. But this is far slower than the rate necessary to deport the tens of millions of illegals in our country right now. To deport the more than 20 million illegal aliens that Leavitt says entered the U.S. in the last four years, the Trump Administration would need to execute upwards of ten thousand deportations per day. “We suspect it’s definitely in the millions and perhaps upwards of 20 million people that were allowed into the country illegally by the previous administration,” she told the reporter. She continued, “The president’s team has made it clear that we need more funding from Congress to do more, we need more ICE agents out on the ground doing this very important work.” (Video)
