Super Bowl Crowd Erupts in Cheers When President Trump Appears on Jumbotron During National Anthem. President Trump is the first sitting president to attend a Super Bowl game in person. He arrived in New Orleans Sunday night to watch the Kansas City Chiefs take on the Philadelphia Eagles. During the singing of the National Anthem, the camera panned to President Trump with his hand over his heart, honoring our great nation.
