BREAKING: Ukraine Agrees to 30-Day Ceasefire with Russia After Trump Strong-Arms Zelensky. Ukraine agreed to a 30-day ceasefire with Russia after negotiations with the United States. Late last month Trump abruptly ended his meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky after a blow-up in the Oval Office. A defiant and ungrateful Zelensky was told to leave the White House and not come back until he’s ready for peace talks. Ukraine said it would accept a 30-day ceasefire with Russia after talks with the U.S. in Saudi Arabia aimed at ending the fighting on Tuesday, according to a statement issued by the U.S. and Ukraine. The agreement came after more than eight hours of negotiations between Ukrainian officials and a U.S. delegation led by Secretary of State Marco Rubio in the Saudi city of Jeddah. "Ukraine expressed readiness to accept the U.S. proposal to enact an immediate, interim 30-day ceasefire, which can be extended by mutual agreement of the parties, and which is subject to acceptance and concurrent implementation by the Russian Federation,” the U.S. and Ukraine said in a joint statement released by the State Department. “The United States will communicate to Russia that Russian reciprocity is the key to achieving peace.”   (Video)

JUST IN: House Passes Trump-Backed CR Bill – Massie is Lone Republican Holdout. The House of Representatives has passed the Trump-backed Continuing Resolution, which is expected to help extend President Trump’s tax cuts. Thomas Massie was the lone Republican vote, previously calling the CR a “UNIPARTY deal.” He added, “It doesn’t fund the wall. It does fund USAID. The democrats depart for a retreat on Wednesday, so they’ve already agreed to provide enough votes to pass the CR.” Rep. Jared Golden (D-ME) joined Republicans in voting for the CR. Eric Burlison (R-MO) was another Republican critic of the bill who ended up voting in favor. “I would never support this language, but I do trust Donald Trump,” he said. USAID Official Issues Stunning Order to Remaining Staffers: Shred and Burn All Your Documents, Including Classified Ones.  A stunning email issued by a USAID official today will generate a national uproar and provoke another massive legal battle. Politico obtained an email from a senior official at USAID ordering the remaining staff to convene at the agency’s former headquarters on Tuesday to destroy all remaining documents by either shredding or burning them. USAID’s acting executive secretary Erica Carr told the staff to meet at the RRB 14th Street Lobby to “shred as many documents first, and reserve the burn bags for when the shredder becomes unavailable or needs a break.”Carr also ordered staff to label the burn bags with the words “SECRET” and “USAID/B/IO/” in dark Sharpie, if possible.
