Ever since the disaster of Obamacare was unleashed on the American public, our healthcare system has only gotten worse – except for the insurance companies, who bathed in massive profits thanks to their pal Obama. Some health insurance stocks are up 1,000 percent in the last 15 years, and even Obama’s cheerleaders at the New York Times called Obamacare a “blessing”! This puts in the last piece of the puzzle as to why the Democrats dug in their heels so much on the longest shutdown in American history. The Democrats’ insistence on extending Obamacare subsidies is not some principled stand on behalf of any huddled masses yearning to breathe free: this is obstructionism to feed their donors’ profits. The “follow the money” on this one is pretty straightforward. In the 2024 campaign, insurers gave five times more money to Kamala Harris than to Donald Trump. In the 2018 cycle, the industry gave 30 times as much to federal Democrat candidates as Republicans: $63 million to just $2.2 million. While this “principled stand” may help Democrats squeeze more money from insurance companies, it has not helped their popularity. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer broke the record for most unpopular national figure in the last 40 years of polling.

Staten Island is renewing its push to secede from the city of New York and be its own city following the mayoral victory of Democratic Socialist (communist) Zohran Mamdani. Unlike Manhattan and to a lesser extent Brooklyn, Staten Island is home to a much more traditional, slightly more conservative, blue-collar, working community. A group of robbery suspects are being held on immigration detainers after being arrested for viciously robbing a man at a shopping mall in South Florida this week, according to reports. The disturbing incident unfolded on Thursday evening in Miami-Dade County. The victim was shopping at Dolphin Mall in Sweetwater when he was ambushed by two men who stole thousands of dollars worth of jewelry from him then fled the scene, Local 10 News reports. The suspects reportedly sped off in a 2025 BMW X6 with two more accomplices inside. The thieves then pawned the stolen jewelry for $3,000 before they were pulled over by police who found more jewelry in the vehicle and nearly $32,000 cash. Additionally, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has lodged detainers against all four suspects, indicating they may be in the U.S. illegally. “Zero tolerance for anybody that thinks they’re going to come into this mall and commit a crime, my officers are ready,” Sweetwater Police Chief Sergio Diez stated during a press conference on Friday. Diez announced that more officers will be on patrol at Dolphin Mall for the holiday season.

Operation Dirtbag: 150 Illegal Alien Sex Predators Arrested in Florida in 10 Days. 230 dangerous illegals rounded up across Florida, many of whom were already under deportation orders. More than 200 criminal illegal aliens, most of whom were sexual predators and pedophiles, were apprehended during a statewide enforcement surge in Florida. Operating under the 287(g) partnership program, state and local authorities teamed up with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to execute Operation Criminal Return, also dubbed “Operation Dirtbag” by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). California’s Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) has confessed to illegally handing out 17,000 non-domiciled Commercial Driver’s Licenses (CDLs) to dangerous foreign drivers who have no business operating massive semitrucks or school buses on American roads. According to U.S. Secretary of Transportation Sean P. Duffy, the discovery came as part of an ongoing audit by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA). According to the Department of Transportation, each of the 17,000 non-domiciled CDL holders has been issued notice that their license will expire within 60 days, as it no longer meets federal requirements. SNAP Benefits Shutdown: A Good Time to Reassess – 54% of Federal Benefit Recipients Non-Citizens. Instagram and Twitter are abuzz with complaints about how the government shutdown is cutting SNAP benefits, and children in the U.S. are going hungry. Liberals blame Republicans for the shutdown and claim Republicans don’t care about Americans.Of course, liberals omit the fact that the shutdown happened because Democrats refused to cut funding for illegal aliens. And as for children “going hungry,” only about 4 percent of American households face what’s called “food insecurity,” which is not the same as hunger. These households already qualify for federal assistance programs. In reality, there is almost no true hunger in the United States. If Democrats are truly concerned about these people, they shouldn’t have allowed the government to shut down. Biden’s 2021 American Rescue Plan provided states with $350 billion in flexible federal funds, which some states used to give unemployment payments to illegal immigrants. New York created a $2.1 billion program for illegal immigrants, paying benefits to 290,000 people who received the equivalent of $3,000 per week. This compensation was intended for those who lost their jobs during the pandemic, even though they were working illegally without a work permit. Through September 30, 2025, New York City recorded migrant-related expenditures of $1.47 billion in FY 2023, $3.75 billion in FY 2024, $3.02 billion in FY 2025, and $498.7 million projected for FY 2026. Over a six-month period, the city distributed debit cards to more than 7,300 migrants at a total cost of $2.6 million. Each card was loaded with $12.52 per person per day for 28 days. The $53 million contract with Mobility Capital Finance included $1.5 million in fees for the first $50 million distributed and $2.5 million for the next $100 million. When we consider all benefits, including local, state, and federal taxpayer money spent on education, emergency medical care, and other services beyond traditional welfare programs, the true cost to U.S. taxpayers is roughly $150 billion. During the government shutdown, President Trump has ordered several departments to conduct citizenship audits to ensure that benefits are only going to those legally in the country. Thanks to the Democrats, the flow of funds has been halted while the audits continue.

Except, of course, his aunt wasn’t in the US at the time. She was in Tanzania, and, frankly, she doesn’t seem the type to wear a hijab either. Small matter.
